Mold

Mold is the hot topic today and EHT is on the forefront for testing mold in air, in bulk samples or through tape lifts or swabs / wipes.

Molds can be found almost anywhere. They can grow on virtually any substance where there is moisture -- wood, paper, carpet and foods.

Mold spores float through the air continually. There is no practical way to eliminate all mold spores in an indoor environment. The key to controlling indoor mold is through moisture control.

Potential health effects and symptoms associated with mold exposures include allergic reactions, asthma, and other respiratory complaints.
